There shall be ONLY one…

Zoo Negara, the infamous national zoo in Malaysia. Used to be one of the main tourist attractions in the country but lost its popularity & attractions over the years due to lousy maintenance .

I was there last Saturday for fun. We went there in the name of "photography".

According to the website, it opens at 9am on Saturday. Anticipating large crowd, we arrived at 8:50am. Surprisingly, we were the FIRST group to arrive at this tourist spot.

We waited till 9am, the ticketing counter is still closed…

At 9:05am, the ticketing counter is, again, still closed…

At about 9:10am, then only the guard opened the counter gate with the zoo staffs sitting behind the counter.

We bought our tickets, went in… and Chin Han wanted to buy drinking waters to crunch the thirst… Sadly, even though the Zoo supposed to start at 9am, the stall that sells water, operated by a Malay family, was still CLOSED. When we questioned them how come they were not following the zoo’s operating hours, they "agitatedly" directed us to a nearby canteen to get our drinking water…

Anyway, here are some shots taken in the zoo. Spent most of my  time with the big pussies…
